Some people seem to think you need to chase Jesus down in order to find Him—as if He were running away. But how can you chase after Jesus when He said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock…” (see Rev. 3:20)? Chasing Jesus suddenly doesn’t make any sense, does it?
Well, it doesn’t make sense because it’s not true! Jesus isn’t running away from you. He’s pursuing you. That’s right. He’s knocking on the door of your heart, waiting for you to invite Him in. You see, Jesus wants to give you something wonderful . . . something nobody else can give you. He wants to give you a better life; one that has no end. Isn’t that what you want?
You can receive this gift today. Right now!
You simply need to acknowledge Jesus’ love for you, receive all He has to offer, and walk in obedience to His commands. Is that too much to ask? Not at all! And the sooner you begin to realize this, the sooner you’ll get to know who Jesus is, and how much He loves you.
Do you hear Him knocking? Open your door to Jesus. He has something good to give you!
