Dear Friends,
You are likely aware that I used to allow comments on this website. There were several reasons why I stopped doing this. I won’t go into details as to why, but I would like to receive your input on the matter. If enough people express a desire for me to implement comments on this site again then I will do so. I will have to set some ground rules however, which will be reflective of some of the issues that I had a problem with when they were present. So if you would like me to restore comments then please let me know by sharing your thoughts in the comment box below (if you are reading this from the homepage then just click on the word comments to get to the comment box).
Furthermore, because I want your experience here to be both edifying and uplifting, I would like to invite you to offer any suggestions that you feel might improve your experience here. Therefore, if you have any suggestions then please let me know what they are in the comment box below. I can’t promise that I will implement them all, but I will take them very seriously.
I look forward to your response!

Hi Chris,
I really enjoyed reading the comments from others as well as leaving my own. Reading the thoughts of others, sometimes enlightens things and gets you really thinking of things in a way perhaps you never thought of before. Yes, I would love the comment section to come back
~just my two cents!
Hi Chris…I understand your desire to control your comments. You might be aware on YouTube I control mine very closely with the features that are available. If you’ve gotten less feedback since you implemented no comments you might want to reinstate them on approval only.
Blessings

I’m new to your sight and I know with me being a new Christian I have a lot of questions, but you offer that at the end of your articles. I think if there are comments things might get way off of what God has put on your heart. Sorry but in my mind it would be like walking in to Church and it being a free forum. Where the message could be distorted. I was gong to a church and the taught what they thought the bible said and it was way off base. You where suggested by 2 people I really trust and I find I like the way you are doing thing. So no I would rather not have comments. Thanks
Hi Chris,
I agree with Vickie (above). I like to read what God has put on your heart to share. Seems when there are comments, it somehow takes away from the initial context of your post. Although comments may be meaningful, loving, and heartfelt, I prefer to read your post and take just that with me. There are so many other forums that allow comments, including Christian ones. I enjoy reading and meditating upon your message alone. Thank you for allowing our input!

Hi Chris,
I enjoyed the comments and I also enjoyed leaving one occasionally. But, I think you should do whatever you feel is best, and most of all …what our Lord and Savior wants you to do. As you know, He will tell you the right thing if you ask Him. What I really liked was when you would put a picture on and let everyone tell you what it reminded them of. Just keep doing what you do because it is all good.
Blessings,
Chelle
I personally dont feel the need to comment, but I dont mind reading what others write.
Keep it all in prayer, sometimes the Lord leads in ways we arent expecting.

I like comments on and feel you as moderator can delete anything that detracts from the message or the blog in general. God is leading you and do what He leads you to do. I have no quarrel either way.
I think comments would be nice. I have been a reader of this blog for a long time and I have found that when you had comments people were able to openly discuss or question things that were on their mind that had to do with the post that you shared. This was really nice because sometimes when new people arrive at your doorstep they are not always as open to asking questions. Even in most churches people are not allowed to openly ask questions.
I think it’s nice to have finally found a place I can trust where I can read good food for the soul and ask questions about things I may be confused about, even if it’s online. I look upon this site in a way as being like my church. I feel safe and trust the truth really shines here.
Blessings,
Kimberly
I agree with Chelle and E4JC.
Sometimes I like to read the comments, especially when you put a picture at your blog and ask everyone to tell them what they see, although most of the time I don’t feel the need for commenting myself.
You are the “owner” of this blog and it is nice of you to ask the opinion of your readers.
Hi Chris!
I do think you should allow comments, but that is just my opinion; it might noy be right for you. All I can say is follow the spirit. I have always enjoyed posting comments. Just a personal note, If I have nothing beneficial and edifying to say, I try not to comment. I know some don’t feel the same and I don’t claim to be wise. On my Blog I do allow comments with moderation. If I find they hurt or offend me I tend to just delete them. If they do not edify God, I delete them, twice!
While I enjoy reading comments, I respect what God has put on your heart and I feel the question section at the end of each wonderful and uplifting article is sufficient. I am fairly new to your website, and I share these articles with others who have received as much from them, if not more than I have. Thank you so much!! God Bless You and guide you!!! Please keep these wonderful messages, meditations and lessons coming!! You are helping and teaching so many-especially those of us who thought we had a broader knowlege base than we really do-thank you again. Your friend in Christ, Tracy
