It’s not enough to read the Bible; its sacred truths must be engraved in our hearts, and sealed in our minds. Some think of the Bible as boring and irrelevant to this generation, disregarding its godly wisdom for worldly pleasure. If only they would humble themselves before Yahweh, and hear the voice of inspiration which breathed life into the Holy Scriptures, they would esteem the Bible as their most prized possession on earth. God fearing men were tortured and put to death, because they wanted to put a Bible into your hands. Don’t treat this sacred book as though it were a common thing. Cherish it; and honor God by exercising faith in what it says. ~ Chris S. Esty
