For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8 MKJV)

It doesn’t matter how fast you run; you can never escape the presence of God. Of course, who would want to escape His presence anyway? That would be the same as saying, “I don’t want to be loved.” I would rather be convicted of wrongdoing and learn to love more than not be convicted of wrongdoing and love less.

We are called to be children of light. That means we won’t walk in rebellion against God’s voice; rather, we will strive to live in complete obedience to His will.

When you feel deep conviction from God, submit yourself to Him by walking according to the Spirit. God isn’t making you feel that way to make life difficult for you, but because He loves you and wants to see you prosper in righteousness.

If you’re going to run, then run to Jesus.
