This generation is all about fame, popularity, and fortune. People from all walks of life are striving to achieve greatness while showing little regard for integrity, not realizing that their quest for stardom has put them on a path leading to a destructive end. Listen, you don’t need to stand in a spotlight to prove your worth to society. All the light you need is in Jesus. He revealed how valuable you are by giving His life for you. Now is the time to show the world how much you value Him by allowing Him to be the light of your life.

Don’t let yourself be drawn into the vanity of the world, but humble yourself before God, and He will lift you up to the place where you ought to be. The way of the wicked will end in destruction, but the way of the righteous leads to life. Aspiring to be anything other than what God wants you to be is to entertain a deadly thought. Nothing but what God wants for you will endure the test of time. Don’t worry about being better than everyone else. It’s not our life’s purpose to compete with one another, but to reflect the kind of life God wants us to have in Jesus. His approval is what we must seek, not the opinions and praises of worldly minded individuals.

Fret not when you see wicked people prosper: don’t be fooled by mere appearances. The prosperity of the wicked will come to an abrupt end, as God will reduce their riches to ashes. Like chaff in the wind, they will be no more. Envying them is like envying death. Instead, turn your eyes upon Jesus, for He has something better in mind for you. Jesus doesn’t want to give you ashes, but eternal happiness. Open your heart to Him and receive His blessing.
