Giving it all to Jesus

by Christopher S. Esty on March 1, 2009

“Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us,” (2 Corinthians 1:9-10 NKJV)

There’s no doubt that a lot of people are going through hard times right now. In fact, the suicide rate has increased quite dramatically in a relatively short period of time. This, of course, is the result of people being overburdened with grief while not knowing where or whom to turn to for help.

Are you discouraged about your life?  If so, don’t give up!  There’s hope in Jesus Christ, and He loves You beyond measure!

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Revelation 3:20-21 NKJV)

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-4 NKJV)

Leave a comment; but please Praise God in it.
