When going through trials, consider the following:
1. God loves you.
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
2. Never expect to live better than Jesus did when He walked this earth.
Behold, the hour is coming, and is already at hand, when you will be scattered, each to his own place, and will leave Me alone. Nevertheless, I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. I have told you these things so that you would find comfort in Me. In this world, you will suffer; but be courageous, for I have overcome the world! (John 16:32-33)
3. No matter what you are going through, believe that God will work it out for your good.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, to enable them to fulfill the purpose for which they are called. (Romans 8:28)
4. God will complete the good work He began in you—it started good, and it will end good.
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ,
(Philippians 1:6 MKJV)
5. Remain faithful.
And because immorality will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But those who endure to the end will be saved. (Matthew 24:12-13)
Blessed are those who do His commandments, for they will be given access to the tree of life, and will enter through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)
