Enlarge My Territory

‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory. Let Your hand be with me, to keep me from evil, so that I may not be grieved.’ (1 Chronicles 4:10)

God won’t enlarge your territory unless you’re willing to walk where Jesus walked. You aren’t here to solicit honor for yourself, but to lift up His holy name. If you foster hatred in your heart towards another, you will only hurt yourself. Thus, your growth in the faith that you have been called to live by in Christ will cease. Hate the sin, but love the sinner.

Retaliation isn’t the answer to your problems. Love is. Ask God to enlarge your territory for greater access to those who are in need of love, not so that you could prove your worth to them by prospering in a worldly way.

Life isn’t about you. It’s about fulfilling Christ’s mission for you. To do that, you must live a holy life. Incidentally, being holy isn’t about saying a prayer or confining yourself to a place of worship; it’s about becoming a reflection of Jesus’ love.

If this is what you want, then ask God to come into your heart and recreate your life in His image. He will enlarge your territory, but you must be willing to let Him fill every area of your life up with His presence. Give your cares to God, and He will prosper you.
