Bible Verses about Brotherly Love

by Chris Esty on November 30, 2009

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. (John 13:34-35 KJV)

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another (Romans 12:9-10 KJV)

He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. (1 John 2:10-11 KJV)

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:18 KJV)

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. (1 John 4:11 KJV)
