What draws people away from God? It’s a program on TV filled with violence and vanity; it’s a musician who glorifies worldly pleasures; it’s a book read as a substitute for the Bible; it’s a prayer uttered for worldly prosperity; it’s a pursuit of a relationship with an ungodly person; it’s the pornography that has paved its way across the Internet; it’s a preacher who does nothing but give you feel good messages week after week; it’s a circle of friends who take pleasure in gossiping and backbiting; it’s a person who invites you to go out to bars and clubs to party it up; it’s a heart that refuses to let Jesus in!

Have you been backsliding from your faith? Turn to God! Don’t shut Him out of your life. Open your door wide to Jesus and let Him come in and change your heart. You won’t obtain happiness anywhere else except by abiding in Him.
