Repay no man evil for evil. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, on your part, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place to wrath: for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay,” says Yahweh. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. Whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, ‘Raca!’, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, ‘You fool!’, shall be in danger of hell fire.
